Editorial Event Photographer Toronto Parts and Labour

How would you describe your style?

My goal is always to create unique and timeless photographs. I draw inspiration from the movies I watch and the music I listen to, I appreciate simplicity and minimalism and always want to recreate that nostalgic feeling we get when looking at old photo albums. My photojournalistic background has taught me how to document and tell genuine stories without ever having to be in the way, to me that's the most important element to capture the authenticity of the surrounding emotions during a wedding or event. I hope to blur the lines between photojournalism, documentary and fine art photography.

Who are the photographers?

I'm a photographer, not a studio, I deal with you directly from the get-go. I do have a right-hand woman that helps me with a lot of things on the backend and is my second-shooter.

Do you do separate engagement sessions?

Absolutely. These sessions are a great way to get to know one another prior to the wedding, I can be booked solely to shoot an engagement session if that's all you're looking to get, see below for pricing.

What are your rates?

Wedding packages start at $2,500, send me an email for a detailed pricing guide.

What does Full Day Coverage REALLY mean?

It means I'm there from the moment you're getting ready up until the last remaining guests are fading off. It's important for me to be there for the entire experience if I truly want to tell a complete story of your day, including the moments you may miss yourself!

How many photos can we expect?

There is no set amount. I deliver roughly 500-700 images for a full wedding day. All images are selected and edited by me so you can be sure that  quality is a consistent element found in each photograph.

Do you shoot things other than weddings?

100%.  I'm a documentary photographer by trade, I'm available for local, national or international assignments and events. I'm also available for commercial and portraiture work. I've worked with many families, restaurants, artists and bands on promotional material and album covers, shoot me an email to get a detailed quote.

Do you shoot video?

I do offer video options for those interested in having their wedding documented. I work closely with two experienced individuals in the industry to create dramatic and cinematic motion pictures of your day. I'm also formally trained in documentary film, camera operation and cinematography.

Do you shoot film at all?

Almost all the time. There's no better way to get an authentic film look than by using film itself. I use instant films, slide films, 120mm films and 35mm films for a lot of commercial, portraiture and wedding work. If you're interested in having your entire shoot or just a portion of it shot on film than let me know, I'll give you a quote for it. Although film is a bit more expensive to use it's often worth it for the authentic, unique and tangible results and "that look" that can never quite be replicated through digital.

How do we book you?

In order to lock me in I require a 30% deposit and a signed contract. I use a very convenient online contract and payment system that is hassle free and easy to use.

Who made your website?

Ryanne Hollies, my assistant, second shooter, and designer put together my website for me. She has designed everything from my business cards to my pricing guides.  If you wish to inquire about a design project you can visit her website ryannehollies.com or email her at ryanne@3bphoto.ca.
