Location: Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Industrial Elopement in Downtown Toronto

This industrial summer elopement took place on a private floor at the newly built MOCA in the heart of Toronto’s west end. Roark & Rebecca held a family-only ceremony on the secret 7th floor of the art gallery providing them with a beautiful blank canvas to craft their intimate elopement ceremony. The bride and groom put thought into what was important to them and made it the centre of their elopement experience.

Young at heart, Rebecca and Roark stopped by one of the many hidden gem parks in downtown Toronto to share in some laughs and spend some time on the swing sets. Eloping should be a fun experience that can’t be derailed by anything, not even a bit of torrential rain, as proven by the bride and groom laughing and dancing as the rain poured on them unexpectedly.

Our adventure took us from spending time in a park to making our way through the trendy Roncesvalles neighbourhood where the final destination was a private floor atop an authentic pizzeria where both immediate families enjoyed a privately catered dinner. A nice touch to this elopement was that the bride and groom hired a guitarist to play during the ceremony and during dinner, a beautiful addition that elevated the atmosphere of the entire wedding day.

This industrial Toronto elopement is the perfect inspiration for couples looking for the ultimate intimate elopement experience and proves that Toronto has some of the most diverse elopement location options for those who prefer the vibe of the urban landscape.
