SUPER 8 WEDDING VIDEOS

Super 8 is the closest thing to a real home movie. Imperfect in the right ways, warm, and alive. It holds onto the atmosphere of the day: movement, light, small moments, and the parts you don’t realize you’ll miss until later.

With the Super 8 video, you’ll receive a short highlight edit told as a creative story. It’s simple, honest, and focused on the day as it actually unfolded,  not a performance of it.

The full point is nostalgia without the gimmick. Something you can return to years from now and still recognize immediately.

16MM VIDEOS

16mm is a more cinematic format,  still analog, still textured, but with a cleaner image and more depth. If Super 8 feels like a home movie, 16mm feels like a short film: quieter, more composed, and a little more refined.

It was a staple format in cinema through the 60s–90s, and it’s still one of the most beautiful ways to capture motion when you want something timeless and intentional.

If you’re drawn to both, I can mix Super 8 and 16mm together in one final edit and use each format where it makes sense for the story of the day.

I can definitely mix the 16mm and Super 8 formats into a final edit if you decided you wanted to have a bit of both to capture your wedding day.

MiniDV

MiniDV is a different kind of wedding video. It’s simple, candid, and intentionally lo-fi. It has that unmistakable late-90s/early-2000s look: direct, imperfect, and oddly emotional because it doesn’t feel performed.

Shot on iconic MiniDV camcorders, it’s approached like a real home video: present, unforced, and always rolling. It catches the in-between moments, the messy parts, the funny parts, the stuff you can’t storyboard. And because it captures sound as it happens, it brings back the day in a different way: voices, room tone, laughter, little fragments you forget you’ll want later. It isn’t trying to be cinematic and that’s the entire point.

You’ll receive a short highlight video, plus a full catalogue of the “tapes” from the day. Memory on the shelf, ready to come back to anytime.

MiniDV feels like a time capsule with sound; immediate and unpolished. Super 8 is warm and dreamy. 16mm is the most cinematic and intentional.
