Elisha & Galen opted to say their vows in front of their immediate families on the balcony of a vintage cottage that overlooked a forest and beautiful ravine. The airbnb cottage they booked just outside of Ottawa was the perfect location for their summer elopement and the quiet atmosphere of the surrounding forests was exactly what they were looking for from their elopement location.
The day began with the families getting ready on separate levels of the cottage before Galen & Elisha experienced their romantic first look in the backyard. Afterwards, the bride and groom exchanged vows as the sun set and capped off their wedding day with an exquisite home cooked meal that was created in a joint effort by all family members in attendance. As part of their elopement experience the bride and groom took time before dinner to explore the nearby forest and enjoy a few quiet moments together in the golden hour light.
