Location: Pop-Up Park Elopement in West-End Toronto Park & Prey Tell Bar

Afsheen & Nikola wanted to create a casual and low-key urban elopement experience without sacrificing their appreciation for the outdoors. The resulting elopement experience was a pop-up wedding ceremony in a local park where they exchanged their vows among their immediate families.

We first met up at the University of Toronto at the very location where they had their first class together, an important place to the bride and groom and the perfect place for a first look and portraits. After the ceremony we took a short drive to Kensington Market and explored their favourite streets and made our way to their favourite bar for a drink.

Being around familiar streets and locations really helped the bride and groom enjoy the entire adventure uninhibited. A small group of friends and family gathered at Prey Tell Bar to toast the bride and groom and enjoy an array of fancy cheeses and cocktails throughout the afternoon.

If you’re a city dweller like this bride and groom then his urban elopement shot on analog film showcases the beautifully diverse areas that Toronto has to offer and how an urban city elopement can be as intimate and meaningful as eloping in the mountains.
